Cocoaland is a leading integrated food confectionery producer in Malaysia, and the largest fruit gummy producer in South East Asia.

Started by the Liew/Lau siblings, who sold deep-fried foodstuffs back in the 1970’s, Cocoaland has grown to 1,000-strong workforce with in-house product development capability and best-seller products such as “Lot 100”, Koko Jelly”, “Cocopie”, “Mum’s Bake”, etc. Cocoaland’s Malaysia production facilities are in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur; Rawang, Selangor; and Kampar, Ipoh. All 3 facilities are ISO:9001 certified, while only Rawang facility has HACCP certification.

Cocoaland also has a joint-venture production facility in Fujian, China, which produces fruit gummy for the PRC market.

Cocoaland’s core competency is brand building and product development. More than 80% of the Group’s revenues were from own products, while about 17% from OEM manufacturing. Some of Cocoaland’s OEM customers includes GSK, Nestle, Wrigley, 21st Century and Vidal.
